Rookie first-round pick Rashard Mendenhall and veteran guard Kendall Simmons will both go on injured reserve and will be out for the season. Mendenhall, who had his first NFL start in the win over the Ravens, has a fractured shoulder. Simmons has "an achilles" according to coach Mike Tomlin.With Willie Parker already hurt and out week 5, the Steelers added Najeh Davenport today.

Steelers lose Mendenhall/Simmons for season, sign Davenport
Last night's victory over the Baltimore Ravens was huge. However, in the process the Steelers lost some key players: 1st-round draft pick Rashard Mendenhall and Kendall Simmons.
